EMAIL MARKETING NEW PHACE

Modern advertising makes email advertising a great way to success. This will works as in recent years I’ve heard of some pretty stiff penalties being handed out to spammers and for good reason. Yet it still goes on and we still receive dozens of them a month. The fact is, it works, people are willing to take the risk because the payoff can be huge. I’m not in any way, shape or form promoting the use of spam, in fact I hate it. I’m just stating a simple fact. The fact that it works has spawned a whole new business model. One that incorporates all the benefits of email advertising but can be done legally.

Email marketing is a great system because everybody wins. Who ever opted in, earn money and the advertisers get targeted visitors for their products. Affiliates earn commissions from their referrals and can end up making a decent amount of money every month for very little effort. For advertisers it is also among the cheapest advertising you can buy. I bet you can often receive hundreds of visits for less than two bucks.

We like this and have been using these methods to promote my affiliate programs and build my down lines for the last several months and have been absolutely delighted with the results. With 1/10 of the cost of advertising with the search engines, we can get the same amount of targeted traffic and the conversion rate is comparable to pay per click advertising. Even we can make money with paid email programs and redeem it for free advertising.

My advice is if you promote products, whether your own or someone else’s this is an advertising method you’re going to want to try. and what will to lose after all? You can often begin advertising for less than a dollar and start receiving traffic the same day. If you’re looking to make some extra cash then you’ll also want to take advantage of the affiliate benefits. It is by far very best system I have seen and call every one to try this.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM- AND IMPORTANCE

Content Management is CMS- A system or the capability to manage and track the location of, and relationships among, a firm’s content at an element level in a repository. High-end content management systems apply workflows, and enable the use and reuse of content and content collections. Content management systems can manage entire binary files (documents), components of files, or XML/SGML data.

Okay CMS has own originality. Content management, whether electronic or not, and web content management focus on the management of the data within a document. This is important to keep web sites, Blogs, CDS , Sales pages, Ads etc successful. Market search and updating of different news as well as writing of articles for Bum marketing or other business activities are under this category.

CMS is a great different from normal data typing and adding to web sites. The activity of acquiring, collecting, authoring/editing, tracking, accessing, and often delivering both structured and unstructured digital information - collectively “content”. The content can include financial data, business records, customer service data, marketing information, images, video, or other types of digital information.

Importance- The delivery of business-critical information to consumers or business-to-business customers by drawing data from disparate sources. The composed documents may contain billing data, customer service information, marketing messages or other types of content. ACH Direct clients manage this process through tools, which empower them to control this critical information flow to customers. This is the soul of web sites and Blogs.

Well what else? Here is to consider many. All of the processes and activities (analysis, evaluation and diagnosis of existing collections, planning and performance of terminological activities) that have as their objective the creation, development and maintenance of a terminology file, database or data bank in one or more specialized subject fields. The digital information is often referred to as content or, to be precise, digital content.

What is WCM- Web content management. Okay let me explain this. systems are often used for storing, controlling, versioning, and publishing industry-specific documentation such as news articles, operators’ manuals, technical manuals, sales guides, and marketing brochures. A content management system may support the following features.

CMS should Import / creation of data including text and multimedia material

CMS will be used for Identification of all key users & their CMt roles

CM must -Should have the ability to assign roles and responsibilities to different content categories or types.

It is stand for the definition of the content workflow tasks, often coupled with event messaging so that content managers are alerted to changes in content.

CMS Should Have the ability to track and manage multiple versions of a single instance of content.

CMS Should Have the ability to publish the content to a repository to support access to the content. Increasingly, the repository is an inherent part of the system, and incorporates enterprise search and retrieval.

Some content management systems allow the textual aspect of content to be separated to some extent from formatting. For example the CMS may automatically set default color, fonts, or layout.

INTERNET /ONLINE PROMOTION THROUGH FREE VIRAL EBOOKS

The viral marketing is the ultimate marketing and promoyional way. This is simple yet most effective like that in the case of hotmail.com OR Google.com OR Orkut.com OR Myspace.com

Viral way of marketing web sites are very cost effective and 100 times faster than conventional advertising oriented marketing as the viral wave can reach wider rage in faster pace. Unlike all the Mini Website Landing page we have view, we give away a free E-book just for Landing on our page, but we get a ‘Name and Email Address’ before we give away the book, we have done this by adding the free give away at the very end of our Landing page, I have worked it out that if they did not buy then I might as well get something for my trouble i.e.: Name and Email Address, so the Landing page should always give me something.

I know the normal thinking on this, in that I am drawing attention away from the Closing the Sale but if they are not going to buy then they are not going to buy and I have lost a future customer, by using the give-away I am increasing my chances of gaining more than one customer.

Okay please note this point that, I do the same on my Index page, I have compiled a load of FREE stuff into an E-book and I simply give it away just for visiting my site, I do not take any ‘Names nor Email Addresses’, because most people do not like to hand out their Names and Address just to get a book, this would defeat the purpose of the book, in that I want it to go Viral.

Listen here- Most people landing on my Index Page will open the free book ensuring a larger distribution of the book hence the book will draw more browsers and in effect more customers.

Okay another thing is,I do the same here as I have done on Landing pages, and placed it at the very end of the page and rather than going to the new page it is set to open a new window, there-by keeping my Main web page open.

WELL HERE WE CAN THINK- Both FREE books are Viral or Stealth marking at its best, it may take a bit of time to expand around the web but they will and they will pay dividends in the end

Then one more- Within the Free books I have a link back to my Website and also to the Landing Page selling a Product, so even though the books are FREE and everything within the books are FREE there is one of my products in there that pays me, when it pays me I get a ‘Name and Email Address’, so it may be a long way around to getting that ‘Name and Address’ but remember it is Viral and even though I appear not to get anything from giving away these books I really do get sales, and as such ‘Names and Address’, which basically, is what counts in the end.

WHAT IS BUM MARKETING ? HOW TO GET BUM FORTUNE.

It is said that the great “Bum marketing” is so called because even a bum can make money using this method. It is notable that- You need no outlay and can start with nothing. Absolutely zilch! What a great and cool fact.. absolutely true even if this is too good to believe.

Here what I want to tell you. I had absolutely zilch because I had maxed out 7 credit cards. I used to laugh when I read about others doing that with just two, but I did it myself - in spades! My only word to you would be very careful how you use PPC programs like Adwords because I wasn’t. But that’s another story. That is the Boom of Bum. Haha I was an ex Bum .. I will never forget.
Let me tell you. I discovered bum marketing because if there is one thing I am good at, it is writing. Bum marketing involves finding a profitable niche, or one that could be profitable. It has to be something with a reasonable large following, and a reasonable number of topics attached to it. Like fly fishing or quilting, or something similar. Something that is followed by people you would expect to have money. You don’t want people flinching at paying $97 for a product related to their hobby or interest. Okay …
Just let me tell you now. You then have to find some decent keywords. For bum marketing it doesn’t matter too much if there is competition for them, but not too general. Not ‘quilting’ but perhaps ‘hand quilting machines’ or ‘deep throat quilters’. Then get a website set up. You can get a cheap functional site for under $5 a month and then set up a website. A sales page for a product and a few pages with some content. If you can get it, register a domain name that is the same as, or relates to, one of the keywords you have chosen. Great and cool efforts will pay you well.

Okay now what? Write a few articles on the topic of your website, and use one for each of the web pages. Bum marketing is all about article writing. You should have one web page for each keyword you are using relating to your website. Find a few products to sell. If you have your own then great, but if not sell affiliate products. Well don’t forget these.
Okay now what else? Then write a few more articles and submit them to article directories. Each directory will allow you what is known as an ‘Author’s Resource Box’ in which you can say a little about yourself and provide a URL for people to click on for more information. The URL should lead to a page that relates to the topic of the article, and should ideally be a text link with the keyword or phrase that is the title of your web page. The text link should be hyper linked to the page; what is termed an ‘active’ link’. This is important.
Great but one thing. here that is ! If the directory does not specifically provide a Resource Box, you can add that information after your article. It has to be included and will go with your article whenever it is copied and used. The article will not only bring you traffic, but also valuable links back to your web pages. That is cool ! Right?
Okay what else is to look for . It is important that you continue to write and keep pumping out new articles. I like to write two every week and send them off to the top 25 directories. That’s all I have to do because most of the top 25 provide material to other directories, and before you know it your articles are all over the internet. That’s bum marketing. And what else. WE HAVE SOME THING ELSE TO OFFER!

STEPS OF MARKETING RSS FEEDS-

Okay here is some thing important for you to get started with RSS marketing, here’s a basic step plan that should provide some needed guidance. Use these steps as your RSS marketing checklist to get your started and help you see whether you’re on the right track. This is really useful
1. Start Using RSS as an End-User

Of all the first step to getting started with RSS marketing/publishing is getting your own RSS aggregator, subscribing to other RSS feeds and just seeing and understanding how it all works.
The list is here- variety of RSS aggregators to choose from. The most popular are:

MyYahoo! (Great web-based aggregator)

Bloglines (Nice web-based aggregator)

NetNewsWire (Mac)

Firefox (browser with integrated RSS features)

NewsGator (web-based aggregator and Microsoft Outlook integrated aggregator)

FeedDemon (desktop aggregator)

Pluck (IE integrated RSS aggregator)

SharpReader (desktop aggregator)

YouSubscribe (Outlook integrated aggregator)

2. Just Plan Your RSS Feeds

I can suggest some thing as the Planning your RSS feeds might be the most important thing you do about RSS. You most certainly need an RSS feed for your e-zine, your news section, your articles etc.

Well- You might also want to do follow-up (autoresponder) RSS feeds, feeds for your affiliates, feeds for your employees or business partners, feeds for the media, and so on.

3. Now - Create a List of RSS Marketing/Publishing Requirements

Okay what else- Here is to do some thing useful. Just create a list of requirements for the RSS marketing/publishing solution you will be getting to publish your feeds. The list should answer the basic questions, such as:

a) Do you want to integrate RSS publishing with your existing content management system?

b) What RSS metrics you’ll want to watch? For example, are you satisfied with just a rough idea of how many people are reading your RSS feed, or are you interested in more precise subscriber counts, clicks and even individual content item popularity?

c) Do you need feed personalization, such as personalizing your RSS content with the receipient’s name and other details?

d) Do you want to provide your subscribers with the ability to precisely select the content they want to receive in your RSS feed (customization), such as by content topic, keywords, authors and so on?

e) Do you want the RSS feeds to be hosted on your own server?

f) Do you need the ability to target promotional messages or other content to your individual RSS feed subscribers, for example based on their previous clicks and reading habits, or even their subscription data?

g) What’s your budget? Specify that as that is very important.

h) Things like these given above.
4. What else now? Just choose an RSS Publishing Tool to create first Feed

Okay well after After you’ve prepared a list of requirements you can start searching for the appropriate RSS marekting and publishing tool. These come in a few general categories:

a) Desktop feed generation tools : Desktop software you can use to inexpensively, quickly and easily generate RSS feeds, but doesn’t allow for more advanced features such as content targeting. The market leader in this category is FeedForAll.com.

b) Hosted online RSS publishing solutions: If you don’t want to be bothered with a desktop tool and having to constantly upload your RSS feeds to your server, you could try a basic hosted online RSS publishing solution, such as MyRSScreator. Using their simple service you don’t even need your own website to publish via RSS. Another good choice, especially if you’re in PR, is PressFeed.

c) Advanced RSS marketing solutions: These will cover more advanced RSS marketing capabilities, such as metrics, scheduled autoresponder messages, database building capabilities and similar. The strongest contenders in this market are SimpleFeed, Nooked, MyST Technology Partners and some other strong players as well. Solutions aimed especially at smaller companies include RSS Auto Publisher and ByPass.

d) Some other options: There are many other options as well, one for example being using your existing content management system to publish RSS feeds, or using a blog publishing solution such as MovableType.

5. Promote Your RSS Feeds through Your Own Channels:

a) Create an RSS presentation page, on which you explain: what RSS is; how the visitor will benefit from using RSS; where they can get a free RSS aggregator (recommend one yourself!); how they can subscribe to your RSS feeds; and why they should subscribe to your own RSS feeds.

Then, on this same page, include the links to all of your RSS feeds.

a) Okay- In addition to the standard orange RSS button, also include direct links for subscriptions via MyYahoo! and other relevant services, such as Bloglines.

b) Now promote this RSS presentation page as much as you can using all of your available channels.

c) Now- Promote your RSS feeds directly below your e-zine subscription box, and always “above the fold”.
Promote your RSS presentation page (telling your visitors that’s where they can subscribe to your feeds) on the most prominent locations of your site.

d) Well- If you’re publishing more than one RSS feed, but rather a couple of focused topic feeds, promote each of them next to their topics on the site.

e) Okay- Promote your RSS feeds in all of your e-mail messages and e-zine issues.

f) Well- As for the content, don’t just say “Subscribe to receive news from my site”, but rather prepare compelling copy to specifically show your visitors why they need to subscribe to your content in the first place and why they should subscribe specifically to your RSS feeds.

e) Now what? Just Enable Auto-discovery
Just include the following piece of HTML code in the section of your webpages and you’ll be all set:

This is important . Don’t forget.

6. Promote Your RSS Feeds Through External Channels

a) Onay now don’t forget to submit your feeds to the appropriate search engines and directories. The best list can be found here.

b) Start Ping the RSS aggregation sites each time you update your online content, letting them know that new content is available to be indexed. You can use this free service pingomatic.com etc.
7. Other Key RSS Activities
a) Just Measure and optimize your feeds

b) Now just Syndicate your feed content to other web media

c) Start to display third-party RSS feeds on your site

Hope this will help you lot and hope to write more in future. Have a nice time ahead.

HERE ARE GREAT TIPS TO PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS/WEBSITE ONLINE

Online or the Internet offers many means of affordable marketing, often with full-color imagery to go along with text.

Plus the multimedia will help to add some spice to the mix and increase online visitors and purchases. Let me give you most proven internet marketing tips for your use.

1. CREATE OWN DIRECTORY - Create your own directory on a specific industry topic, placing your own ad or banner along the top. Then invite others to add their website links via a link exchange program, listing themselves in your directory. This is an excellent tip any one can follow.

This will result in lots of free advertising for you as your directory expands with links across the World Wide Web. Enter “link exchange software” into your favorite search engine for help with setup.

2. JUST TEACH A COURSE - Write out a simple step-by-step instructional class in your area of expertise. Then break it up into smaller segments and set them up in an auto responder as email messages with your ads included at the top and / or bottom of each message. Invite website visitors to sign up through on online form or email subscription address offered through the auto responder service. Then as people sign up, they will learn more about you and your products and services. This is really useful.

3 THE EZINE EBOOK - Forget about small daily or weekly ezines. Try publishing one large monthly e-zine as an e-book format, preferably an Adobe .pdf file.

Include a large number of articles with each issue and regularly featured areas like inspirational quotes, industry tips, favorite sites and advice from the pros.

Also insert full-color graphics, multimedia components like audio file links, if you like, and ads. Then you can charge a monthly rate, with an annual discounted package purchase, and sell advertising spots.

4. BEST TIP OF THE DAY - Set up your own Tip of the Day targeting your own area of expertise, relating to your own products and services.

You can set it up on your website in a targeted box, via autoresponder, a blog, an RSS feed, an audio file or others means of communication

Add your own ad along with your tip for whichever product or service you want to target or maybe even your own online store for all. This will gently remind your target audience where to go to learn more

In summary, by using Internet Marketing techniques customized to fit your own products and services, you can reach out and increase your website traffic and purchase opportunities. Internet marketing can mean a more affordable way to grow your business. I hope this helps in your future advertising decisions.

THE SOCIAL NETWORKS AND ADVERTISING-

Great idea is just a click away- Here that is. According to Facebook, a social networking site,”Young adults are the primary trend drivers in our society,” and “marketing to young adults on their own terms is critical for online business success.

I want to say you some thing important. If you produce services or products for teens or young adults you might have considered online social networks to be prime Internet advertising space for your company. After all, sites like MySpace and Facebook boast thousands–even millions–of users between the ages of 13 and 25 and isn’t that the veritable gold mine you’ve been waiting for?

Well Maybe…………but probably not. I am sure mostly Not.

Okay here that is-Internet Advertising the Easy Way or the Smart Way? What will it be for you?

What is important is, if you want to advertise with MySpace or Facebook it certainly won’t involve any amount of rocket science. With MySpace for instance you simply fill out a short online form and a MySpace representative will give you a call and discuss your options. Facebook offers options such as Facebook flyers ($10/flyer), polls (minimum $26/poll), and additional options for companies who want to discuss other options. This is as simple as that.

Now come to the point again. The Internet advertising flyers, banners and polls via MySpace and/or Facebook may prove somewhat valuable but they defeat the main advantage that a social networking site provides and that is word-of-mouth (valid) Internet advertising. After all, teens and young adults go to MySpace and Facebook to see what people their own age are doing, using and choosing, and it is the recommendations of these people that they will trust more than any banner ad or Facebook flyer. So, how can you get these young online users to like your product or service enough to mention it to others?

Okay now think. First, you have to find our what teens and young adults are sharing (what matters to them) and second you have to find out how you can integrate your products and services with that content.

And It is then that your Internet advertising campaign can begin to transform itself into Internet word-of-mouth advertising which may indeed be the best type of Internet advertising available.

Imagine- What are teens and young adults sharing?

Well here that is. As the line between work and play gradually becomes thinner and as entertainment becomes more of a need than a pleasure, it’s obvious that teens and young adults are placing entertainment on the top of their list of priorities.

And what ? In fact, according to emarketer.com, “More than any other age group, Millennials spent time online searching for and downloading music. More than half of Millennials also consumed user-generated content online, and visited online gaming and TV sites” and “When members of the Millennial group found a worthy TV show or Web site, they told an average of 18 people, compared to only 10 people for all age groups. In fact, word-of-mouth was the main reason Millennials visited Web sites, followed by TV ads

Okay well just think. Does this mean you should hire a singer/songwriter to mention your product or service in his or her songs? Probably not, but by creating entertainment that associates itself with the humor, music, TV or Internet content that teens and young adults enjoy, you are actually investing in Internet advertising that matters to teens and to young adults.

Okay you might try for instance, creating humorous videos on low budgets and posting them on YouTube and other video content sites. Make sure to associate keywords like “teens” and “young adults” (along with the names of your products or services) with the video. You might also try finding creative Internet advertising minds who can create music, humorous commercials or other types of entertainment that can be associated with your products. Once you have the content, you can contact Facebook or MySpace to see how much it would cost to produce your own customized entertainment, which may be a far more effective method of Internet advertising than a Facebook online flyer or a MySpace banner ad.

So let us think on this point. The trick to better Internet advertising via social networks is to set aside the revenue and the time to find creative individuals who can produce the kind of Internet advertising entertainment that makes teens and young adults laugh, cry, etc.

This is a great world new ideas will come and go, those who see tomorrow can find them and use them. I think you will fall in to this category. Wish you the best.

Here Is A Different Way to Advertise. Really simple but wonderful

Well often when people are thinking about advertising their business, they think of newspaper ads, billboards, TV commercials, and radio commercials. Each of these outlets are very expensive. And if it is not done right, the return is minimal, if not non-existent.

And here let me say- There is another outlet that generates business that very few people consider. Speaking.

Okay now- Speaking to a group has added benefits that normal advertising does not. First of all, you establish yourself as an expert in your field. You obviously know what you’re talking about if you are able to stand in front of a roomful of strangers with confidence and pass along information that they otherwise would not have. Second, they instantly have a face to the name. You develop a relationship with each person in the room. They know who you are and, if you do a good job during your speech, they will come to you when they need a person with your expertise.

And one thing important, If you plan on getting in front of any association or civic group, there are a few things you need to keep in mind.

Well important thing is that, your speech should not be a sales pitch for your business. Your first and foremost interest is to share valuable information with the group. Their interests are your top concern. An audience will be very turned-off by a guest speaker that tries to sell them for 20 to 45 minutes. Walk in with tips, suggestions, and steps for the audience to use right away in their own business.

Okay now let me say- Here’s the kicker. You must be a good speaker. This isn’t to say that you have to be a pro, but you do need to have a well prepared, well structured, and information-driven presentation. Walking in unprepared will not generate business. My clients do not hire me simply to improve their speaking skills. They hire me to better present themselves to their prospects, therefore they can create more business. Business is based on relationships. Speaking is a great way to jumpstart those relationships. If you are a good speaker, then you have the ability to grow your business. This is why the fear of speaking inhibits so many professionals.

Okay well- If you have a well prepared speech and have your audience’s best interest at heart, then you are ready for the next step: to generate prospects. To execute this, you need to have a follow up strategy. There are many options for your follow up strategy. You can have product at the back of the room, you can give discount certificates to each member of the audience, you could have you business cards on all of the tables, you could say at the end of your speech that you’d be happy to answer any questions and then visit with the members that approach you, or you could refer them to your website for an article on the subject you talked about. Those are only a few options for you to use. For more ideas about the business side of speaking, I highly recommend you visit your local chapter of the National Speakers Association (NSA). They are a very helpful group with a multitude of resources.

So, the next time you’re brainstorming new ways to generate more prospects, remember the benefits of speaking. This is too easy too cool and too simple. Am I Right?

How You Can Set Up Auto responder. A Full Study -

If you want to start your own opt in list you are going to have to learn how to set up an auto responder so that you can collect subscribers and follow up with them on a regular basis in order to generate repeat sales and consistent profits. The first thing you will need to do is create a new account with a reliable service such as Aweber which provides unlimited auto responders, tracking links, and excellent support. Once you have set up your account you will need to create a new auto responder and change the name, add a description, and insert your from name and email address.

The next thing you will need to do is create a subscription form using the tool in your control panel which you can find by clicking “Web Form” under the “List Settings” tab if you are using Aweber. This tool will allow you to create a standard subscription form which you can insert into your squeeze page or you can also create a pop over which hovers over the top of your web page.

You will also need to enter the thank you page link which is where visitors are directed to after they have subscribed and you can use this to sell a product and offer a special discount as a reward for joining your list. To track which page your subscribers are joining from you should also enter a tracking name.

The Web Form tool will also allow you to design how you want the subscription form to look on your website which is useful if you need to make it small enough to fit in the sidebar of your blog. The main benefit of using the Web Form is that you will be able to track the number of impressions your subscription form gets so that you can work out your conversion rates.

The next thing you will need to do is start adding messages to your auto responder which will be sent out on your behalf on a timeframe that you specify. The first message that you create should welcome subscribers to your newsletter and provide the download instructions for the free report that you are giving away (if you have one).

The follow up messages should alternate between providing useful information and recommendations for products which you have created or are promoting as an affiliate. Its important that you send free content to your subscribers on a regular basis to keep them interested and each of your follow up messages should be sent five to seven days after the previous so that you don’t swamp your subscribers with constant emails. This also gives you time to send broadcast messages in between each follow up without overwhelming your subscribers.

After you have set up your auto responder and created your squeeze page its just a case of sending as much traffic as you can to it in order to collect subscribers and build your list. As well as this you should always test new things and track the conversion rates of your squeeze page and follow up messages and make some modifications if you think you can achieve better results.

Do you want to more on auto responders and email marketing? If you want how to access and use safe lists phone and mobile as well as address lists, Logon to http://www.casanads.net/ -

What Is Email Marketing? How to benefit from it ?

Email marketing is, as the name suggests, the use of email in marketing communications. Marketing via email is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fundraising messages to an audience. It is also referred to by similar terms known as: bulk emailing, mass emailing, email advertising, email promotions, email ad campaigns, emailing service, email ad promotions, web emailing, e-mailing, e-mail marketing, opt-in emailing, optin emailing, email list management, email web advertising, direct email marketing, email marketing solution, bulk email marketing software, email marketing campaign, email promotion internet marketing, email management, email data management.

Email marketing is one of the most successful methods of marketing ever developed. By far it is one of the most effective and inexpensive methods of advertising available to you. If you have an email marketing strategy and if that strategy works then mail marketing is very affordable and effective. Because email is much cheaper than most other forms of communication it ranks high in popularity. This form of marketing lets you deliver your message to your potential market (unlike a website, where the people have to come to your message). Email marketing has proven very successful for those who do it right. Often it is reported as second only to search marketing as the most effective online marketing tactic.

Emailing is routinely used as a way to advertise a product, company, or an opportunity. The underlying concept with sending emails to your market is all about relationship building. Email marketing is about developing a relationship with your recipients and building of trust. But be aware, if they feel you are misusing or abusing that relationship they will not hesitate to report you as a spammer. Software Apart from cost of email marketing software and Internet connection there isn’t any other substantial cost that a marketer has to bear to execute a successful email marketing campaign. With the help of email marketing software, even individuals doing business from home are improving their marketing communications and adding new business. Using email marketing software is a very inexpensive and effective way to create email marketing campaigns that are professional quality.

Utilizing email software is a great way to contact your site visitors again and again with information about your products and services. Customization with the help of email software enables you to address your consumer by their first name in the subject line. Many email marketing software applications allow you to pre-schedule the mail delivery date and time and send it automatically, so that you don’t miss out. Many bulk email marketing software services track the number of users that have responded by opening your mail or replying to your email. Keep in mind though, before using email software or doing any bulk email marketing, make sure you comply with all spam regulations and the rules of your own web host. Make sure you use reliable and well-recognized email management software. One of the most powerful and highly recommended sources for web based emailing software that will help you automate your email marketing efforts is the Constant Contact email management system. It may sound daunting at first for those who don’t use computers too much, but let me tell you from experience, it takes only a few hours to learn how to use the software and only a few minutes to create new emails to send out in bulk. Email Marketing is Still King of the Internet Email marketing is the perfect medium to pick up where other marketing leaves off.

Email marketing is still very popular because sending email is much cheaper than most other forms of communication. It is an extremely cost effective way of reaching your potential market. Since email marketing is one of the most successful means of advertising ever developed, you should be using it. As you may already know, it costs a lot more to acquire a new customer then it does to keep an existing one, and email marketing is your secret weapon in your marketing toolbox when it comes to customer retention.

Are you serious in email marketing? Here is the biggest opportunity. Get double confirmed email safe lists and phone /mobile/address lists of individuals and companies as well as potent buyers. You can promote any thing you want. Very useful for ZERO ad cost promotions.

How To Get More Traffic From Search Engines

Well let me tell you a real fact.

Anybody who has a website wishes to surge the exploration locomotive that will lead people to their site. You can’t just snap your member and look forward to to have a lot of hunt engine travel, you have to put some work into it. You need to be able to grab the pursuit train responsiveness.

THE OFFLINE ADVERTISEMENT THEROUGH LEAFLETS - A GREAT IDEA.

Marketing is fun, especially when you have the right tools and you know when and how to use them. Some of the tools are brochures, leaflets and postcards. In the age of the Internet, majority of the focus has shifted to email marketing and newsletter generation. However, the importance and effectiveness of tangible and real life promotional tools have not yet decreased in any way. They still have a strong foothold in the world of marketing. They still work wonders when it comes to attracting and alluring customers. Let us have a brief look at some of the promotional tools, how they help in creating and campaigning for a brand and how you can get good quality work done in brochure and leaflets printing.

Nowadays, emails, pop ups and promotional sites are ruling the roost. More and more companies are launching email campaigns to come into their target customers’ sight and stay there as long as one can. However, with such campaigns hosted in the virtual world, the importance of brochures and leaflets is still not outdone, and they still do the magic when many other promotional tools fail.

Brochures, Leaflet printing and other tangible, real life promotional tools can not only help in promoting a brand, but they also contribute a lot in creating brand value. They can bring a brand to the view of the target customers and spread the awareness of the existence of that brand.

Now leaflets printing and other printing work have become easy. Today, an organisation does not have to run from printing press to advertising agencies for getting things like leaflets printing done. You can easily order them over the Internet from professional sites who are into such activities. They would know exactly how you want your leaflets to be printed, and that too without too much of expenditure. And the result is highly professional leaflets printing and other kinds of printing work.

DO YOU THINK BLOGS USEFUL IN PROMOTING BUSINESS?

I have been seeing that to pomote your primary business which is your website then you should start a blog because of being able to advertise your website. I thought okay I will start a blog and promote my business. Well the thing is it is not mentioned that you have to have a following or readership in order for it to work. I have come to the realization last night that I have spent more time in promoting my blog than I have in promoting my business site. I mean you have got to let people know that you have a blog right? I have finally started to get some comments on some of my posts

It is a long time process in building up your blog, but it is worth it in my opinion to do it. I personally think that a blog is great for advertising your site because you do reach a lot of people this way. In a way it is like having two businesses. One is your blog which is your advertiser or your advertising agency. But for a advertising agency to work you have to have clients which in this case is readers. I have a blog that I have found it fascinating to promote because I don’t have anything on it that I sell. I have been looking for ways to promote my blog without spending money or having anyone spend money on my blog. I am not an internet guru, I am just an everyday woman that is looking to make a change in my lifestyle. There is one thing that I have learned is that there is always something else to learn. It is a learning and growth experience just like a blog. A blog has to grow like adding content to increase rating so to speak. You know I guess in a way I am selling something, I am selling my blog.

I am saying hey come check me out I have what you need or want, you can trust me. Now that is the biggee TRUST . How can you know if you can really trust someone? By being consistent is one thing and for any advertiser to be successful the clients have to trust that what they are being told is the truth. The second business is your primary website. Blogs can also be your primary site. I have seen several successful businesses that are blogs. If you continue building your blog up to the level that it can be then yes blogs are good for advertising websites.

How to plan ads those pull visitors?

Well let me tell you that I still use this style ad to test the response I’ll receive from ebook or sales letter. Important is that I can guarantee this ad will pull if you place it in front of the right prospects. This is a real fact as well.

Well here -my best ad reads “Free ebook” followed by “enter your name and email address” to receive your Free ebook. This ad has always been my best pulling ad. This will make a huge email list as well.

Okay listen now- In addiction to sending them the Free ebook I also send them to my website. Once I collect their name and email address I also send them follow up emails offering my other products to them. Back end sales type.

Well believe me- This works like crazy.

Listen - Your best customers will be those who are just starting out online. They are active and seem to be buying everything they come across.

Tell me - Who are the people who buys the most online?

It is the people who are known as opportunity seekers these are the easiest to sell your products or service too. So make sure you collect their names and email addresses. So you can continue to send them your other offers.

Well here that is- Remember the rule of thumb here. They have to see your advertisement at least 7 times, before they will respond and buy your product.

And - Many people fail to follow up with their customers with their other offers. And this is like leaving your money on the table. And what happens, their customer will go to another website to spend their money.

Important to note. In the online business follow up sells is where the big bucks are made. Those who don’t follow up with their other offers will soon be out of business.

-Hope for a clean success in nearest future and wish you the same.

Here is free web based marketing and save your dollars from CPC and PPC

Here are some very nice ideas you can use to cut down the cost of impending ppc and cpc web marketing. These are useful alternatives. Just try them.

Press Releases - While they should be reserved for newsworthy purposes (new product/service, acquisition, attending Trade Show or Convention, etc.), they are a great way to get people to visit your site when they are looking for information relating to your product or service. It’s also a great way to build your brand name and to become known as an authority of information in your field.

2. Directory Listings - Quite simply, this is the easiest way to get your site indexed by search engines. There are many free directories that you can get your site listed in, and there are many fee-based directories that are worth the price of adding your site. The added value is that since your site is listed categorically, it helps to re-enforce what your site offers, since it will be found with similar sites.

3. Articles - Expose your expertise! While article writing is not easy, it is an extremely valuable asset to your site. By writing, you are creating unique content found nowhere else and we all know how much search engines love that! It also gives you another way of explaining a product or service without coming off as a sales pitch. Another added benefit of writing articles is that it’s a great way to naturally grow the size of your site in an organic way, and will in turn, make your site become a “hub” of relevant information in regards to your industry.

4. Newlsetters - This should be your site’s bread and butter. The people who have signed up for your newsletter already feel that your site was worth their time to give you their email address, so these people have already place some trust and value into what you have to say. The newsletter is where you can promote new products and services to interested users without risking any intrusiveness factors. This is the best place to make a sales pitch to your perspective readers!

5. Blogs/RSS Feeds - While to some people this is already old-hat, there are many users out there (think AOL users) who have no idea about how to customize the content they want to read. There are many areas to get your blog listed, and it gives an inside point-of-view into the inner workings of your company or personality, thus giving yet another way for a user to identify with you or your site.

I think it’s safe to say that the search engines will always be around, but to focus entirely on them and ignoring the other resources could be a costly business mistake.

Just remember to keep your eye on the prize of online success, and customers coming from various outlets, not just the search engines.

-To your online success!

Have ever think of millions visitors to your web pages free? Just amazing but now that is too a reality. I am yet to know the details but some of my close friend posted this article in our online journal and ask us to post this in our Blog. logon to the website and decide yourself whether this is fact and fiction. Here is his article. Read and judge the site later.

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an “oversight” on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.And no, nothing about his “secret” is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the “inside” at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly “…this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first … but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it.”

This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children’s toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses - all the while applying his mastermind secret.

Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses “I’ve actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for … and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines … all of which I got for free …”So powerful is his secret that he’s able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.

He still has to set up an account with the search engines - but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved. Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines. One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret “Wow! Ha! This is really unique … and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!”

The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years’ period of time since applying his secret he’s done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really “buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential.”

Now to everyone else’s fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he’s not promising any of us for how long.

A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says “We’ll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things.”

One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret “he’s already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it’s still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this.”It is currently available at: http://tinyurl.com/2hslrb

Copy this URL and Paste to your web browser address column and enter ..see the amazing free information.

I was wondering how that is possible, but I am sure that si possible. …so you may want to head on over there now and get it. It’s in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level. While you’re there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

WEBSITE-LEVERAGING IDEA AND PRACTICE-

Failing to leverage Internet technology, many companies are being rapidly left behind. Slowly but surely, businesses large and small have been coming to this realization. Without question, the cornerstone of an effective Internet presence is a polished and professional Website. However, many companies fail to realize that building a dazzling, user-friendly Website is only the first step in establishing and maintaining an optimal Web presence. The bottom line: A Website that no one visits has entirely no value.

In order to best utilize your Website it is imperative to maximize quality traffic to it. Your firm may choose to go about this in any number of ways, some incredibly powerful, others not so much. Many companies choose to overemphasize online strategies, such as pay-per-click ads, to the neglect of tried-and-true, traditional “offline” methods. As part of an overall marketing strategy, it is important to maintain a firm-specific mix that is based upon sound market research.

Online strategies

One of the best ways to drive traffic to your site is to have it rank highly on respected search engines such as Google. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is important. However, not everyone can be in Google’s top ten. So, where does that leave you? One possible solution is to buy high ranking paid search results through pay per click (PPC) advertising.

PPC, in which you pay a set amount each time a user clicks on your ad, can be an effective component of your marketing strategy. Unfortunately, PPC ads are inherently limited by the fact that most people are leery of clicking on what they know are paid advertisements. Aware of the fact that these ads may lead them to a Website without relevant content (as opposed to organic search results) potential clients are reluctant to click on them.

Online directories and link sharing sites are two other avenues that, though valuable as a component of an overall strategy, often tend to be over-emphasized when it comes to maximizing Website traffic.

These valuable online marketing and advertising strategies should be supplemented with the effective use of traditional strategies in order to maximize quality Website traffic. This is especially the case with small businesses and those seeking to reach a local target market.

Traditional strategies

Even today, in the midst of the “digital revolution,” companies choosing to disregard traditional marketing and advertising strategies do so at their own peril. Well conceived and implemented strategies to achieve maximum Website traffic should always include “offline” traditional components.

Successful businesses utilize proven methods such as radio spots, print advertising, targeted mailers, and even innovative mobile advertising. A disciplined public relations campaign, capable of generating publicity through third-party validation can also be invaluable in generating a buzz and driving traffic to your Website. These avenues provide the ability to reach large chunks of a target market that may otherwise go untapped by an over-reliance on Internet marketing strategies. They should not be overlooked.

Take action

Has your business put all of its stock into Internet marketing? Are you missing out on reaching a sizable chunk of your target market by failing to utilize tried-and-true methods? An honest appraisal is in order. Re-visit your marketing strategy to ensure that you are delivering the maximum amount of quality traffic to your Website. If you need help, seek out a firm that specializes in providing integrated Website development and marketing solutions.

THE GREAT INFO ABOUT MOST SUCCESSFUL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNSFirst of all, our thanks to Kurt Kroner, the man behind the defining example of the greatest advertising campaign of the century.

He wasn’t the copywriter. That was Julian Koenig. Nor was he the art director. That was Helmut Krone. Nor was he elsewhere employed by Doyle Dane Bernbach, the agency that stormed the confining Bastille of advertising orthodoxy to ignite the “creative revolution.”

Actually, our hero wasn’t in advertising at all. Kurt Kroner was the one, among 3,389 Wolfsburg, Germany, assembly plant workers, to flag a blemished chrome strip on the glove compartment of a 1961 Volkswagen Beetle and reject the vehicle for delivery. Yes, if we are to believe Koenig’s copy, Herr Kroner gave us the famously failed and fabulously forlorn. . . “Lemon.”

God bless him, because in so doing he also gave advertising permission to surprise, to defy and to engage the consumer without bludgeoning him about the face and body. Kroner offered up a lemon with approximately the same result of Eve offering the apple. Not only did everything change, but suddenly things were a lot more interesting.

“In the beginning,” adman pundit Jerry Della Femina has written, “there was Volkswagen. That was the day when the new advertising agency was really born.”

In an industry that is by its very nature contentious, there is hardly a soul who would disagree. “Lemon.” “Think Small.” The TV spot called “Funeral.” They weren’t the earliest salvos of the revolution, but they were — in their assiduously quiet way — the loudest.

“Let us prove to the world,” wrote William Bernbach in his 1949 manifesto for the “creative revolution,” “that good taste, good art, good writing can be good selling.”

Did he ever, and the Beetle is Exhibit A. The air-cooled engine and the 34 miles per gallon were all well and good, but the droll, conversational, self-deprecating style of the copy was as important a feature as anything engineered in Wolfsburg.

To be amused by Koenig’s copy was to be flattered by it. The car that presented itself as the antidote to conspicuous consumption was itself the badge product for those who fancied themselves a cut above, or at least invulnerable to, the tacky blandishments of the hidden persuaders. “Think small” was thinking quite big, actually. The rounded fenders were, in effect, the biggest tail fins of all, for what Volkswagen sold with its seductive, disarming candor was nothing more lofty than conspicuously inconspicuous consumption. Beetle ownership allowed you to show off that you didn’t need to show off.

So, no, contrary to all existing thought on the subject, Mr. Bernbach’s creative revolution was not the overturning of ’50s-era “motivational” manipulation. It was simply the most agreeable and effective expression of it.

And the most influential. In ranking the 100 greatest ad campaigns of the century, the impact of that second genesis is manifest. Whereas only seven of Advertising Age’s selection of the classic 100 campaigns of the century employ celebrities, and only eight of them invoke sex, and only four of them play on consumer fear and insecurities in the way the industry is constantly decried for doing, no fewer than 16 come from the 1960s. Six hail from DDB alone.

It is, of course, a challenging and somewhat presumptuous enterprise to reduce a century’s labors to a Top 100 list. It is not difficult, however, to establish criteria. To be included, a campaign could qualify in one of three ways:

1) If it was a watershed, discernibly changing the culture of advertising or the popular culture as a whole.

The Volkswagen work clearly met this standard. So did the Avis campaign, which dared, heretically, to boast about No. 2-ness. One stunning example of that daring advertiser’s contrarian thinking displayed the repugnant contents of a filthy ashtray. The copywriter had (supposedly) found it in a client rental and displayed it as the exception that proves the “We Try Harder” rule.

Of such boldness legends are made. Another was the Jordan Motor Car Co., famously — albeit counterintuitively — targeting women for motorcar purchases with its print ad titled “Somewhere West of Laramie.”

Woodbury soap, which had been marketed for years for its medicinal properties, turned its attention on the user. Helen Lansdowne Resor’s headline “A skin you love to touch,” in implying a romantic advantage, may have been the first triumph for sex in advertising. Four decades later, Clairol turned its category upside down by doing more or less the same thing. “Does she. . . or doesn’t she?” was a tantalizing question in the midst of the simultaneous Sexual Revolution, even if the ostensible answer was about hair coloring: “Only her hairdresser knows for sure.”

And in yet a more aggressive double entendre, Calvin Klein scandalized viewers with the first foray into shockvertising: Brooke Shields, all of 15 years old, lying on her back in tight blue jeans, cooing “Nothing comes between me and my Calvins.” Klein’s much-imitated scheme of generating outrage to generate publicity to generate consumer buzz has altered the advertising landscape, mainly for the worse, probably forever.

2) If it itself was credited with creating a category, or if by its efforts a brand became entrenched in its category as No. 1. Before the DeBeers mining syndicate informed us “A Diamond is Forever,” associating itself with eternal romance, the diamond solitaire as the standard token of betrothal did not exist. Now, thanks to the simple audacity of the advertising proposition, the diamond engagement ring is de rigueur virtually worldwide, and the diamond by far the precious gemstone of choice.

By the same token, the overnight package industry barely existed before Federal Express vowed to deliver “Absolutely, Positively Overnight.” Miller Lite’s “Tastes Great, Less Filling” claim took a single beer brand and transformed it into an industrywide segment now on track to overtake the tastes-better, more-filling premiums.

Absolut Vodka achieved what Stolichnaya could never do: establish a burgeoning marketplace for premium vodkas. It was a neat trick for a product that is by law and by its very nature a flavorless commodity.

3) If it was simply unforgettable.

Consider, for instance, the granddaddy of all jingles:

Pepsi-Cola hits the spot.

12 full ounces, that’s a lot!

Twice as much for a nickel, too.

Pepsi-Cola is the drink for you!

In 1949, that little number played 296,426 times on 469 radio stations — not counting jukebox play, where it was also a favorite. The Pepsi jingle embedded itself not so much in the nation’s psyche as in its very nerve endings, like the Pledge of Allegiance, or — depending on your viewpoint — a case of shingles.

Periodically a campaign comes along that not only captures the public’s imagination, but penetrates the vernacular. Wendy’s hamburgers’ “Where’s the Beef?” was on the lips of an entire nation, including at least one presidential candidate. A succession of Alka-Seltzer campaigns, from a succession of agencies, achieved the same — effervescently and hilariously — for two decades. Plop plop, fizz fizz, oh how memorable advertising sometimes is.

Smokey Bear has been in hibernation for years, but thanks to him everyone knows what, precisely, only you can prevent.

Everyone knows where M&Ms do and do not melt. Everyone knows what is 99 44/100ths pure. (Hint: It is not the advertising industry.) Everyone knows what is “Mmm mmm good.”

Sadly, annoyance can be unforgettable, too. The shrill, petulant “Ring Around the Collar” still grates decades after its conception. Mr. Whipple is long retired but still fondling toilet paper in the darkest recesses of our memory. The Anacin hammers-in-the-head — which were to Rosser Reeves’ Unique Selling Proposition what the hammer and sickle were to international Communism — still reverberate nearly 40 years later.

Such advertising is something like the Heimlich maneuver: a disagreeable experience but one which undeniably dislodges the obstruction.

By contemporary standards, “They laughed when I sat down at the piano” is a transparently disingenuous dramatization of a dubious promise, yet its triumph-of-the-nebbish approach informs direct-response advertising still today. Listerine’s halitosis campaign (”Always a bridesmaid, never a bride”) may have fed on people’s insecurities, but it certainly framed the issue

“For sheer fertility in creating situations in which halitosis could spell business ruin and wreck a romance,” wrote E.M. Turner archly in his witty chronicle “The Shocking History of Advertising!” “Listerine must not be grudged a grain of admiration.”

Resist if you can, as Mr. Turner could not, the temptation to sneer. Listerine, Wisk and their like-minded brethren dominated their categories at the time and for decades thereafter. Indeed, they still do.

This gets to the consequence of citing the greatest campaigns ever, especially with the ranking protocol employed here. We cannot always surrender to our aesthetic better judgment, nor even our moral one.

It will amuse some, and horrify others, that in the pantheon — what we judge to be the 10 greatest advertising campaigns ever — are included: two air polluters (VW and Avis), nutritionless sugar water (Coca-Cola), one reviled carcinogen (Marlboro), two companies infamous for the use of virtual slave labor (DeBeers, Nike), one purveyor of savory cardiovascular time bombs (McDonald’s), two booze peddlers (Absolut and Miller Lite) and one cosmetic product preying on the vanity of women (Clairol).

Mercifully, the second tier of 10 — Apple Computer, Ivory Soap, et al — is markedly more benign. We leave it to history to divine a meaning from all of this. We are inclined to believe the best advertising is bound eventually to emerge from the biggest categories, and the biggest categories consist of the things people most desire. People do not most desire wheat germ.

Beyond the usual contemptuousness about the excesses of the consumer society, it’s probably worth a second look at the list to see what conclusions we can draw from the advertisements themselves. What common thread runs through the 100 greatest campaigns of 100 years? What is the defining nature of this particular instrument of these particular immortals?

It is acknowledged, once again, that some of these ads are manipulative and some annoying and some less than completely honest. (The Marlboro man, for instance, the most successful ad symbol of all time, the supposed symbol of rugged independence, is really a symbol of enslavement to an addictive drug, isn’t he?)

But these advertisements, most of them, are something else, too. They are treasures. For one, they are important artifacts in our culture. Woe betide future anthropologists and historians who try to trace the American experience without pondering what, exactly, it is that her hairdresser knows for sure.

And that’s because the greatest advertising isn’t great for moving merchandise any more than the greatest literature is great for compelling plots. Somehow — in the service of carmakers and brassiere manufacturers and car rental agencies — these campaigns have discovered our humanity. They have touched us, understood us, reflected our lives and often enough enriched them.

“They laughed when I sat down at the piano” may fall a bit short in the facts, but in exploring the roiling psychology of self-esteem, it overflows with human truth.

Not grand, momentous philosophical truth — just, here and there, from this surprising corner and that, an observation, a revelation, a tender nerve struck. Maybe it’s just an ad for piano lessons or a computer or a facial soap, but it gets to the heart of what makes us tick. Leave it to the philosophers to contemplate the large issues.

Advertising is content to think small.

Advertising is an art and a science
as well.
Definition: The word advertising is from the root Latin advert: ad (to) vertere (turn), which means to call attention to. To advertise means: “to describe or praise publicly, usually to promote for sale.”
Advertising is a special form of communication intended to persuade consumers to respond in a positive way toward a product, service or idea. In Washington, DC, the home of many non-profit advocacy organizations it means to persuade or to change minds.
In other words the goal of advertising is to influence people: to buy something, to think well of something, and to ask that they take a particular action.

Contrary to popular opinion, advertising is a testable, provable, science, not an art. Effective advertising relies on a few simple strategic formulas. Done well however advertising can be done artfully. And should be.
It pays to advertise. The basic purpose of advertising is to inform. Often, simply giving basic information about a product or service is sufficient. i.e., classified ads are simple information ads.

“Top of Mind awareness.” Memory is the cornerstone of creative strategies in advertising. The basic assumption of this strategy is that the media environment is cluttered and memory is limited. Since memory is limited, it is important that our advertising give customers something worth remembering, otherwise they will simply forget you.

Frequency and repetition is crucial. How many times do you have to tell a dog to sit in order for her to learn how? Advertising exists along a continuum. Short-term traffic builders vs. long-term awareness builders.

How does Advertising really work? It creates: 1. AWARENESS, which creates: 2. INTEREST, which creates: 3. MOTIVATION, which creates: 4. DEMAND, which creates: 5. ACTION!

THE IMPORTANCE OF STRATEGY

Advertising is part of a larger plan The most successful companies have an advertising or marketing plan as part of their larger business plan. Advertising is only one method of communication in this plan. It must be linked to other communication strategies to be truly effective

Starting to advertise Position your product. This means to understand how your product looks and feels compared to other similar products in the marketplace. Jeep is positioned as an upscale outdoorsy anyplace-anytime vehicle, compared to Volvo, which is positioned as a sensible, safe, financially secure “investment in security”. Position means to be placed in a certain way in the consumers mind. Having a unique sales position means you can create a unique sales message against other similar products (market segment) and in new areas (market penetration).

Create a marketing strategy Marketing Strategy is the master plan in which you determine actual product, price, distribution, and promotional effort. From Marketing Strategy grows creative strategy
Creative Strategy is what you say and how you say it. You can’t have a good ad without the following: 1. Objective: What the advertising should do 2. Research: Is there any and what does it tell us about perceptions, both positive and negative. Qualitative vs. Quantitative. 3. Target Audience: Who is your consumer exactly. It’s ok to have more than one target. 4. Key Consumer Benefit: Why should they buy your product? 5. Support/lnformation: A reason to believe that benefit 6. Tone and Manner: A statement of the product “personality” or the personality of the “statement”

What works best: The four parts of any Ad

1. Benefit Statement: Headline - Get your basic message here and see it from the consumers side - Keep it simple - Inject news - Don’t be afraid of Long Headlines (Research shows more sales) 2. Illustrations vs photos - Photos generally better - Inject story appeal - Keep it simple 3. Information/support - Support claim or promise - Don’t be afraid of long copy. Resistance does not increase after 100 words. - Testimonials help, although cliched 4. Call to action–What do you want the consumer to do? - Coupons - Telephone - Visit 5. Forget everything but Rule 1. Benefit, benefit, benefit

Media Strategy: Winning a place in the consumers mind Campaigns are a series of ads with a single goal similar in style and execution, slightly different in message.

1. The importance of frequency - Awareness building - Opportunity improvement capture 2. Placement - Research Media Kits (refer to marketing plan) - Flight strategies save money

Media outlets for Advertising

Television Advantages: Excellent medium for emotional impact and singular message. Fantastic reach. Disadvantages: If bought with enough Total Rating Point’s, it is far too costly. It is hard to target and there would be lots of waste over the entire SMSA. Production costs to do quality advertising are expensive

Cable television. Advantages: Can select geographic areas specifically, television allows for high emotional impact. Cable is affordable. Disadvantages: Networks skew too heavily toward particular targets

Radio. Advantages: Can be fairly targeted, allows for impact and emotional appeal through broadcast, cost effective. Disadvantage: Fair percentage of wasted geographical listenership over SMSA.
Magazines Advantages: Prestigious environments, color, room for more detailed information, can target psychographically. Disadvantages: Very few magazines isolate specific areas, so there’s plenty of wasted circulation. Lack of reach with specialty publications. Require many different placements.
Newspaper. Advantages: Can target specific areas with regional placements, large space units are emotionally impressive, newspaper has an urgent, timely feel, and there’s room for longer copy or more photography. Disadvantages: Normally a retail medium, not usually good for impact or awareness. Limited reach. Poor reproduction
Direct mail. Advantages: Highly targeted, good for long, informative messages. Disadvantages: Not a prestigious or “important” medium, relatively expensive to produce in 4-color, big impact or large numbers. This medium works best when linked to response offers. It is private and quiet in nature.

Outdoor and transit advertising. Advantages: Easy to target, great for short “reminder” messages. Disadvantages: Public transportation users become primary target, uses up too much budget if done right, can’t stand alone as primary medium, “good” locations are very limited.

I am sure if you read this post well your chance of success with advertising will be increased ten time. Wish you all the success.

ALL ABOUT PPC AND TIPS-
.You are on your way to success with great advertising. Advertising your services or products on the Internet is both extremely effective and extremely competitive. There are several ways to go about attracting traffic to your website; Pay-Per-Click is one of the options you can choose from, along with developing an SEO, or search engine optimization campaign. Both pay-per-click and SEO are targeted to get your website placed as close to the top of search engine results as possible. One of the differences is that it takes minutes to set up a pay-per-click campaign versus months for a good SEO campaign.
What is great special with PPC? Pay-Per-Click is a simple type of paid advertising that most search engines, including some of the largest ones, now offer. It requires a bid for a “per-click” basis, which translates to your company paying the bid amount every time the search engine directs a visitor to your site. There is the added bonus that when a per-click site sends your website traffic, your site often appears in the results of other prevalent search engines. Cool idea.

Important is as with all marketing campaigns, there are advantages and disadvantages. If you understand the process and monitor your pay-per-click campaign frequently, it can be very effective. One of the greatest advantages is that you never have to tweak your web pages to change your position in search engine results, as you must do in a typical SEO campaign. What you do have to do in a pay-per-click campaign is pay a fee. Just to think more here.

Let us think more. Another advantage is the simplicity of the pay-per-click process. You just bid and you’re up and running. It doesn’t demand any specific technical knowledge, though the more you know about search engines and keywords, the easier - and more effective - the process will be. Okay !

Some important disadvantages to be consider. The downside is that pay-per-click is essentially a bidding war. A higher bid than yours will lower your position on search engine results. This means that you will have to raise your bid to regain your position - which can obviously become quite expensive, especially if you are bidding on a popular keyword. Too hot war of bidding…
Now just think. In order to determine if pay-per-click is a cost effective form of marketing for your business, you must do some computing to figure out how much each visitor to your site is worth. You can compute this value by dividing the profit you make on your website over a given period of time by the total number of visitors for that same time period. For example, if your site made $5,000 in profits and there were 2,5000 hits, each visitor would be theoretically worth 50 cents. The basic formula is profits divided by visitors. Well let us think

The figure of 50 cents per visitor is the point at which your business breaks even. The idea, of course, is to show a profit, not to merely cover your costs. Therefore, you are aiming at a figure less than 50 cents per click.

Be aware that the most popular keywords often cost considerably more than 50 cents a click. The only way around this is to bid less for these phrases or you will be paying too much for each individual hit.

The key (pun intended) to success is to learn everything you can about search engine keyword research. The good news is there isn’t a limit to the amount of keywords you can add to your bid because additional keywords do not add additional cost. This translates into a lot less hassle for you because there is no need to optimize your site to index a particular set of keywords
Obviously, some keywords are much more effective than others are, but they will not cost you anything except time to set-up your account in your pay-per-click bid. Of the popular search engines that offer pay-per-click, one called Overture provides an online tool that will give you the data on how often particular keywords are entered into their search engine. They also offer suggestions for keywords after you enter a description of your site.

In pay-per-click, this written description is crucial. You must understand that the object of your description is not to generally attract visitors, but to be as specific as possible so that only those visitors who are likely to buy your service or product go to your site. You must use expert marketing copy to guarantee that your description is both precise and enticing to attract the most ideal candidates to your site. This description is your most powerful tool to insure that your bid is profitable.

Another essential element of pay-per-click advertising is that you constantly monitor your bid. It is very important that you bear in mind that the results of the top search engines providing pay-per-click advertising, which are Overture and Adwords Select, usually appear on other popular search engines. Because of this, the competition for top ranking is intense, and very often you will find that the bidding price balloons too high for pay-per-click to yield a profit.

If this happens, it is advisable to withdraw your bid on that particular keyword and try another one. Remember: when you pay too much per click to make a profit, you are in essence losing the bidding war.

Since losing is not acceptable, you must have a plan in place to closely track the effectiveness of your keyword. It is advisable to monitor your keywords on at least a monthly basis.

Not only is careful monitoring important, but the analysis of visitor behavior can produce invaluable knowledge about consumer motivation, habits, and trends. Expert monitoring and consumer analysis is essential to your overall business needs, and will also insure that your pay-per-click campaign is a success.
