ARE BLOGS USEFUL IN PROMOTING BUSINESS?

 DO YOU THINK BLOGS USEFUL IN PROMOTING BUSINESS?

I have been seeing that to pomote your primary business which is your website then you should start a blog because of being able to advertise your website. I thought okay I will start a blog and promote my business. Well the thing is it is not mentioned that you have to have a following or readership in order for it to work. I have come to the realization last night that I have spent more time in promoting my blog than I have in promoting my business site. I mean you have got to let people know that you have a blog right? I have finally started to get some comments on some of my posts

It is a long time process in building up your blog, but it is worth it in my opinion to do it. I personally think that a blog is great for advertising your site because you do reach a lot of people this way. In a way it is like having two businesses. One is your blog which is your advertiser or your advertising agency. But for a advertising agency to work you have to have clients which in this case is readers. I have a blog that I have found it fascinating to promote because I don’t have anything on it that I sell. I have been looking for ways to promote my blog without spending money or having anyone spend money on my blog. I am not an internet guru, I am just an everyday woman that is looking to make a change in my lifestyle. There is one thing that I have learned is that there is always something else to learn. It is a learning and growth experience just like a blog. A blog has to grow like adding content to increase rating so to speak. You know I guess in a way I am selling something, I am selling my blog.

I am saying hey come check me out I have what you need or want, you can trust me. Now that is the biggee TRUST . How can you know if you can really trust someone? By being consistent is one thing and for any advertiser to be successful the clients have to trust that what they are being told is the truth. The second business is your primary website. Blogs can also be your primary site. I have seen several successful businesses that are blogs. If you continue building your blog up to the level that it can be then yes blogs are good for advertising websites.
